Brought to you by Yonderbound.
My daughter, wife and I, are the kind of people that talk about what we are going to have for dinner while still having lunch. This same mentality is applied to how we approach travel. The second the plane lands back home from a trip, we are already planning the next.
A fun new hotel planning and search tool called Yonderbound
Planning a trip takes inspiration and lots of research. This research ranges from reading up, to getting people’s feedback on a destination, to comparing flight and accommodation rates, with the latter probably being the toughest part of the planning, as there are so many places to choose from when it comes to where you’re staying.
Narrowing it down is not an easy task, especially if you haven’t been to the destination before. What kind of room and services do you want?; what’s the budget?; which neighborhood?
There are your circle of friends, even online review sites, like Trip Advisor, in which you can get feedback and advice regarding where to stay, in hopes to get led the right way.
Recently, we have been introduced to a new hotel search engine named Yonderbound, which work with thousands of hotels from all over the world to bring you the best prices for accommodations that can be found anywhere. The prices they list already include taxes and fees that are not usually disclosed by other search engines.
But that’s not why I write about Yonderbound, I write about it because it makes planning fun and interactive. When you log in, you can choose a traditional route and simply view hotels in your destination and book, or you can use a planning tool called a Yonderbox.
There’s also an inspiration board.
Creating a Yonderbox helps you keep track of your hotel short list in the form of an inspiration board. I call it an inspiration board, because these boxes you create don’t only inspire you, but can also be used as a tool to inspire aspirational travelers to stay in your preferred accommodations. This is what sets Yonderbound apart from the others; because when you log in you’re automatically welcomed into a community of travel lovers.
Along with every accommodation being linked to Trip Advisor reviews, one can also view Yonderboxes created by you and others to get their insight and knowledge regarding destinations when it pertains to accommodations.
Save money on hotels AND earn credits toward your stay
The best part, instead of sharing your wisdom for free, which you probably do all the time anyway, Yonderbound shows you their appreciation by paying you for your “know how”. You get credit for every time someone books a hotel through your Yonderboxes. Watch this video by Yonderbound and see how it works:
Yonderbound is the first platform that lets you earn money by sharing your travel insights.
And every time someone books a hotel through one of your Yonderboxes, you get 70% of the profit. You can use the credits you earn from these bookings to use against your own stay.
Here is an example of the Yonderbox we created for NYC:
Let’s get started, but first here’s a gift from Brenda, Bailey and I:
